Why this list exists
The lining is the point, and there are two kinds here. Brushed fleece on the inside of a woven shell gives you a winter trouser that looks like a jogger. Sherpa on the inside of a sweatshirt gives you something much warmer and much bulkier.
Most of the lined trousers also list a water resistant face. That handles a wet bench or light drizzle, not a downpour.
